I see a need for a person to be exacting and to weigh his/her actions every day like great merchants who constantly evaluate their business so as not to suffer any loss  –R’ Moshe Chaim Luzzzato

Hardcover bound, the JTM Planner is a journal/calendar planner designed to bring Jewish Time Management to life and to integrate spiritual growth into your daily routine.

Jewish Time Management is based on the concept of Cheshbon HaNefesh, a personal accounting, and it consists of four elements:  A spiritual accounting; daily reinforcement of spiritual goals; setting aside time for personal growth (and Torah study); and exercises to help you connect.

A spiritual accounting is no different than a business accounting.  If you want to succeed in business, you need to know where you are and where you want to go.  To do this, you have to take stock of your accounts to ensure you are on track.  So too with spiritual growth!  You have to know who you are and have an idea of who you want to become; you also have to examine your progress.

The Jewish Time Management Planner is designed for this accounting.  At the beginning of the day, you have space to take time to consider who you are and who you want to be.  At the end of the day, you have room for reflection.  Were you the person you hoped to be?  Are you better for having had the gift of another day?  Where did you succeed, and where did you face challenge?  What memories and events impacted you?  How did G-d guide you?

Likewise, at the end of the week, there is space for you to gather your experiences and to set a course for the week ahead.

In between, you have space to place reminders, road signs to keep you on track.  You should also set aside time for personal growth, to take care of yourself and to study Torah.

At the back of the JTM Planner, there are exercises to help you focus on what is important to you.  You need not do them all.  The most important thing is to do something – everyday.
